SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING
December 19, 2011
Town Office Building, W8906 O’Sixteen Road, Reeseville, WI.
Attorney Consultation
1. Call to Order: The Special Town Board Meeting of the Town of Lowell was called to order by Chairman John Schmitt at 4:00 p.m.
2. Board Members present:
Chairman John Schmitt, _x_
Supervisor Greg Caine, _x_
Supervisor Dave Huebner, _x_
Clerk Theresa Firari, _x_
By phone: Attorney Remzy Bitar.
3. The Meeting was acknowledged as posted by the Clerk according to State Statutes.
4. The Agenda: Attorney Consultation was adopted by Huebner and seconded by Caine.
5. DISCUSSION & MOTIONS:
A closed session for an attorney consultation, pursuant to Sec. 19.85(1)(g) of the Wisconsin State Statutes: Chairman Schmitt requested a roll call vote of the Town Board members present to go into closed session. The nature of the business to be considered in the closed session is to confer with legal counsel about strategy regarding current or likely litigation. Voice vote: 3 yes, 0 no. The following persons were named to remain in the closed session with Chairman Schmitt: Supervisors Caine & Huebner, Clerk Firari.
6. Motion to Adjourn: Motion by Caine, seconded by Huebner to adjourn @ 4:15 p.m. Motion carried.
